My friend bought a ticket for C$1650 each last June for their family travel this December... now, same flight can be bought at C$1300... and there's 6 of them! Imagine the savings have they waited to purchased their tickets. But then, there may be limited seats with this cheaper fare.
"Airlines have been hit hard by the economic slump and that has resulted in a drop in passengers over thanksgiving. Recent airfare price drops may be too little too late Christmas traveler.
Air fare prices are down about 25 percent from what they were just a few months ago. Which might encourage some people to alter plans to book last minute air travel.

Batman to be killed after 70 years???
'Batman RIP' will see "the end of Bruce Wayne as Batman", according to Grant Morrison.
There are rumours that Batman will suffer a gruesome end when his sidekick Robin goes over to "the dark side" and destroys him in a terrible betrayal.
Batman, alter ego of Bruce Wayne a wealthy industrialist, operates in the American Gotham City.
Others speculate that Wayne may either retire from his duties or be killed by a mystery villain known as the Black Glove.

My wife has been making money through her blogging. And she is quite happy with her so-called "income" from pro-blogging and has been thinking that they are tax-free. Well, not for long. Canada Revenue Agency [CRA] has been asking for information from eBay and soon Paypal to find out the other sources of income from its taxpayer and hopefully be able to tax them for this "unreported" income.
"As more Canadians buy and sell online, retailer eBay Canada says it expects to disclose information on its so-called "power sellers" to Canada Revenue Agency this week.
The release of data is in response to a ruling by the Federal Court of Appeal last April.
The court ordered eBay to turn over to the tax agency the names and gross sales figures of Canadians who earn at least $1,000 a month from online sales for three straight months.
In a recent letter to affected customers, eBay said it strenuously objects to the federal requests, but it must comply.
In 2006, Revenue Canada started looking into whether power sellers had reported all their eBay earnings on their 2004 and 2005 income taxes.
It's estimated about 32,000 Canadians make all or part of their income selling on eBay.
Meantime, many more Canadians are shopping online, with 2007 sales rising to $12.8 billion, Statistics Canada says." -- SOURCE

A Canadian boy who ran away from home after his father took away his Xbox game console has been found dead in a cornfield, local media said.

This is truly a sad story... but as a parent myself, I do restrict the time my kids spent on computer, Wii and Nintendo DS. They only get to play on weekends and after all the school works are done. My kids don't like the rules, but I just don't want them to get addicted to these electronic games.
